The Reverend Mandy S. Miller initially began ministry at Holy Cross UMC in August of 2008 as pastor of visitation. Over the years her responsibilities have broadened and now she is the pastor of Holy Cross: Reading and Calvary Campuses. She is an elder in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church. She previously served as pastor of St. Matthew’s UMC in Reading (2005-2008), Juniata Park UMC in Philadelphia (2003-2005) and as associate pastor of Tokyo Union Church in Tokyo, Japan (2000-2003).
Pastor Mandy grew up predominantly in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Franklin High School, a school of great diversity with 19 languages spoken among the student body. She attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR (1997, BA in Spanish Language and Culture) and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC (M. Div. 2000).
Pastor Mandy is married to John Miller of Boise, ID. John manages software development and architecture. They have two children in the Exeter School District. The family enjoys worshiping together. They also look forward to vacationing together exploring God’s creation and the creatures who call it home.
